Ritika Goyal
Ritika Goyal works as a Policy Research Specialist at the Hibiscus Initiatives, London, where she provides consultancy advice on the implementation of cultural mediation in the UK’s asylum and criminal justice system. She has pursued an LLM in Human Rights Law (2022-2023) at the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. Her research interests lie primarily in the areas of refugee law, the criminal justice system and mental health law. As a legal researcher at Columbia University’s Global Freedom of Expression project, she analyses cases related to free speech, hate speech, and the right to privacy from the Global South. She is also working as a Rapporteur for the Oxford Reports on International Human Rights Law (ACHR).
