Sarah Sheikh Ali

Sarah is the co-founder and director of HuMENA for Human Rights and Civic Engagement.

She holds a Master’s degree in Political Sciences and International Relations with a concentration in International organizations and non-governmental organizations management, and a diploma in International Human Rights Law from the International Institute of Human Rights (Fondation René Cassin), Strasbourg.

Sarah has an intensive experience in CSO development, advocacy, gender, transitional justice, and democratization sector.

She held different programmatic positions with increasing responsibilities in local, regional, and international NGOs in the Middle East.

In 2018 she was selected for the top 10 list of the “Arab Youth Humanitarian Activism Award”.
