Iyadh Abid

Iyadh ABID is an independent Legal and Policy Consultant based in Tunis. He works on investment reforms, privacy issues and Justice sector reforms. Iyadh is a Fulbright alumnus holding a Master in Common Law from “Faculté des Sciences Juridiques, Politiques et Sociales de Tunis” and an LL.M. from Penn State Law. He formerly served as Adviser to the Minister of Development, Investment and International Cooperation and Adviser to the Minister of Industry and Trade in Tunisia, where he was involved in designing and implementing several legal and regulatory reforms. Iyadh previously worked with national and international NGOs and was Director of Africa Programs with PennState Law from 2018 to 2020. He is the co-founder of NGO LEAD Tunisia and instigator of the Penn State Law scholarship program for Tunisian law graduates.
