Ana Dangova Hug is a lawyer practicing at the Law firm INTER PARTES Skopje, specialising in international human rights law, criminal law and litigation. Before that she worked for the Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF), the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. She holds a Master in International Studies, with specialization in international law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva.

Ms. Dangova Hug has acted as a counsel in numerous human rights challenges involving the right to freedom of expression before the national courts. She is a Trainer for the Macedonian Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors.

Together with the Danish Institute of Human Rights, she led the preparation of the first national guide on Human Rights and Business in Macedonia, and contributed to publications of various organizations, including DCAF, Kluwer Law International and the World Bank.
