Aline Longstaff is currently a juris doctor candidate at Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark law school (April 2016). She received her Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies (Arabic), History, and International Studies from the University of Utah (2011) and holds a Masters of Theological Studies in Islamic Studies from Harvard University (2013). She has externed in Utah’s Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court, District of Utah in addition to working as a researcher and editor on various legal projects related law & religion, human rights, and freedom of expression.
