Vidar works as a litigator in several areas, specializing in Freedom of Speech. He is regularly representing various Norwegian media companies, The Association of editors-in-chief and various NGOs. He has represented Edward Snowden in a case on extradition against the Norwegian state, and litigated the “Rolfsen” case that was awarded Columbia’s prize for the best ruling on Freedom of Speech in 2016.
