Tamás Attila Szikora graduated at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Pázmány Péter Catholic University (Budapest, Hungary) in 2008. At the beginning of his professional career, he was mainly involved in research of media regulation and the constitutional context of election campaigns and freedom of expression. He is a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Public Administration Sciences, Ludovika University of Public Service (Budapest, Hungary), and a research fellow at the Institute of the Information Society (Eötvös József Research Centre, Ludovika University of Public Service). His research focus areas are social media platform regulation, the role and effects of platforms in elections, and liability issues in the online sphere. His research interests also include certain aspects of the protection of personality rights, in particular the analysis of Hungarian case law in relation to the protection of reputation and honour of public figures.
