Kuberan Hansrajh Kumaresan

Kuberan Hansrajh Kumaresan is presently a Judicial Clerk to Tan Sri Nallini Pathmanathan at Malaysia’s apex court. He recently graduated from the Bar Course with High Distinction and holds a BA in Law from the University of Oxford. Kuberan has engaged extensively with international law, including co-authoring an amicus brief to the Indonesian Supreme Court on the duty to obtain Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) of indigenous peoples and conducting research at the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights, where he assessed the compatibility of counterterrorism laws with freedom of expression guarantees. He is intent on becoming a strategic litigator who upholds the principles of freedom of expression.
