Elliot Singer was born on the East Coast but grew up in the Midwest.  He graduated from Cornell University with a degree in anthropology in 2008.  After graduation Elliot joined Teach For America in Greater New Orleans and taught elementary school for two years.  He attended law school at Tulane University and graduated in 2014 with a certificate in environmental law.  Elliot currently lives with his wife and dog in Denver, Colorado.
