Dhruv Bhatnagar
Dhruv is an experienced Internet law and policy lawyer based in New Delhi, India.
He has represented global technology companies in complex litigation cases pertaining to intermediary liability, online content moderation and censorship, privacy and data protection, electronic surveillance, and OTT regulation. He has also assisted his clients in responding to regulatory proposals by the Indian government and sectoral regulators on these issues.
Dhruv served as a Digital Rights Litigation Fellow for the Centre for Communication Governance at the National Law University, Delhi in 2022. In this role, he supported strategic litigation to advance civil liberties and digital rights in India.
He is passionate about platform governance and routinely writes on this subject in academic and popular forums. He holds a B.Com., LL.B (Hons) from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar and an LL.M. from Columbia Law School, with a concentration in technology law intellectual property.
